I’ve Been Inspired!!

So, obviously it has been a while since I have posted. I took the summer off from many school related things (besides my master’s program). I watched many of my teacher friends on instagram attend the Teachers Pay Teachers Conference this summer in Las Vegas. I rigorously stalked their Instagram with envy. Mark my words, I WILL go next year! This website has changed my life. It is an extra small income that helps my hubby and I get closer to our dream home! Thanks to the inspiration of my friends Kristin at Chalk and Apples and my friend Ashley from Schroeders Shenanigans in 2nd, I am trying to start off my blogging once and week and creating a new product once a week! We’ll see how it goes but I get such joy from doing it, why not do it more. Both of them are great inspirations! Kristin is working on her masters as well and she has a gorgeous little boy! If she can do it, I should be able to post at least once a week! Ashley has so much energy! She makes multiple products AND works out consistently! If I had an ounce of her energy I would get so much more done!!

Anyways, lets play catch up! The school year ended in May! The week after school ended I attended the teacher leader conference in New Orleans for all of the teacher leaders in our state! What a great experience! I love love love collaborating with fellow teachers!

My roommate was a teacher from a neighboring school that I only met once or twice before! Little did I know, we had WAY more in common than I could have ever dreamed of. We bounced ideas back and forth during the conference and learned a lot! Did I mention there was a fire drill during the conference and about 4,000 teachers were evacuated and standing in a street in the middle of New Orleans for a good 10 minutes!! Fun right?

A few days after the conference my hubby and I along with 3 other couples jumped on a cruise ship near the very building pictured above and headed towards, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Cozumel, Mexico! It was a GREAT trip!

In Grand Cayman we took a beginner’s scuba diving course which allowed us to dive 40 ft! It was the neatest thing I have ever done!! Absolutely gorgeous! We saw so many fish near the coral reef. I cannot wait to do it again!

In Jamaica we went to an all-inclusive 5 star resort! There was lots of drinks, sun, and food! Oh and it was also kid free!! After the long school year I had, kid free was a must! I’m sure i’ll feel differently when I have my own kids!

Our last stop was Cozumel, Mexico where we did an adventure park! It was so much fun!! We wish we would have had more time in the park but the time we did have was a blast! It was a park through out the caves in Mexico. There were ziplines, amphibious vehicle, cave swimming, and more. We only have enough time to do the amphibious vehicles and the ziplines. We did about 13 different ziplines. Some of them went through water falls and into the caves. Such an awesome and gorgeous experience! We were tired that night for sure!!

That about wraps up our trip!
After that it was back to reality of summer school for my graduate courses! I got a lot done and finished all of my work by the end of the June! I didn’t really work on classroom stuff until this past week. That is a big improvement for me. I worked in my room all last week and maybe have a day or two until it is finished the way I want it. I moved classrooms this year. Same grade level but I wanted to be closer to my team. Moving is NEVER fun!!  Thank goodness for my hubby who came move a lot of my furniture. When I am finished I will post the whole tour but for now, let me leave you with some pictures of what I walked into last week!!

Yuck right!!! I’ll have it up to par soon!
Here are a few of my products that I have posted recently!!
