Sync your planner to your computer and tablet device!

A few years ago I took the leap into digital planning. The endless options were extremely overwhelming at first. Landscape, portrait, dated, undated, January start, July start… and the list goes on and on. I’m here to help you find the digital planner that works best for you!

What is a digital planner?

A digital planner is an interactive pdf that can be used in pdf annotation apps such as good notes, notability, etc. The digital planner is not an app. It is downloaded onto your tablet device or computer. Google slides options are available with my planners to be used on any device that can access the internet. You DO NOT need an iPad or tablet to use a digital planner.

Landscape vs. Portrait

There are plenty of perks to each layout type. The landscape layout is a horizontal view of the planner that looks as though two pages are shown at the same time. A portrait layout is a vertical view of the planners that shows one complete page at a time. When choosing the correct layout, keep in mind how you wish to hold your planner when writing on it, if using an iPad/tablet device. I have an iPad case that sits the iPad up in a horizontal view, so the landscape is my preferred planner type. I must admit I switch back and forth from portrait to landscape.

Dated vs. Undated

Using a dated planner has obvious benefits. All of the year is dated and ready to go as soon as the planner is downloaded. Similar to a paper planner you purchase in the store, dated planners must be purchased with every calendar year.  If you absolutely fall in love with a design that you wish to use every year, an undated planner is perfect. This planner can be used every year by simply re-downloading it and name it again on your device.

January Start vs. July Start

This preference option depends on when your school year begins. I know here in South Louisiana our school year begins in August but I often begin planning in July. Therefore, the July start is my favorite! Some teachers love a January start planner even with their school year beginning in July. A fresh start for the new calendar year is their favorite.
